Child's Nantucket Lightship Basket

Perfect size for children or cocktails, this vintage lightship (or friendship) basket is by Martin Brown.  Martin learned the craft, alongside brother G.L. Brown, from late father Walter on Madaket in 1970.  Brown baskets are easily spotted, on island and off, by their beautifully notched handles, brass nailhead trim and amazing patina.
